Polishing Unpolished Granite Edges

Q. I have already installed and grouted 12x12 granite for my kitchen counter top, BUT how do I polish the edge like the top (or at least close to). It seems to be a secret, I cannot find how to from the net. Please help! Thank you so much!

A. This is a job for a pro, but if you do think you can handle it, there are two videos that will help you --- one on edge polishing which you can get at www.ntc-stone.com and one by Alpha Professional Tools, "Kitchen Countertop Fabrication" which you should be able to get at Stonecare Central (www.stonecarecentral.com).
eep in mind that if you do want to do it yourself, the cost of the diamonds and the polishing equipments may end up costing you more than having it professionally done.
