Q. How can I remove white stains from rubbing alcohol dripping on my saltillo tile? The tile is sealed but the sealant probably needs to be redone. A. The alcohol has removed the existing sealer. The best thing to do is to strip the existing sealer off and reapply. However, you need to determine what type of sealer you currently have to pick the proper stripper. If you don't know, you may want to click on the Find a Pro tab to locate a professional in your area who can help you make the determination. Dr. Fred Fred M.
